"BEGINNERS MINDFULNESS YOGA"
A 2-SESSION YOGA WORKSHOP FOR ALL LEVELS
Dates: Monday, June 4, 2018 and Monday, June 11, 2018 - 6:15 to 8:00 p.m.
Do you want to make some changes for better health and well-being? Have you been thinking about trying yoga but think you are too stiff, or too old, or not in the physical shape to do it? This two-session Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy workshop will (1) Help you explore the relationship between your body, your mind, and your life, and (2) Give you the beginning tools to release physical, mental, and emotional tensions. Work on improving your self-awareness, empowering yourself to make changes in your life, and developing a short personal home yoga routine. Monday, June 4 and Monday June 11 from 6:15 - 8:00 p.m. at St. John's Church, Western Run Parish (3738 Butler Road, Reisterstown, MD 21136). Program Fee: $40
“Navigating Postnatal Stress”

Wednesdays starting May 9 through June 13,
10 - 11:30 a.m. ( the two first week moms only, 4 following weeks bring the babies too)
Learn to navigate worry, anxiety, and stress with ease. Cultivate clarity, self-awareness, and some peace. Lead a happier and more confident life with your new baby. Wednesdays, May 9 through June 13, 10 - 11:30 a.m. at Anette's County Studio, Reisterstown, MD 21136. Program fee: $180
“Transform Stress, Embrace Change, Find Peace”
6-WEEK MINDFULNESS YOGA AND MEDITATION GROUP PROGRAM .
Fall program from October 1st through November 5th.
This session continues for 6 consecutive weeks at St. John's Church Western run parish, 3738 Butler Road, Reisterstown, MD 21136. There will be an all day silent retreat in addition to the weekly sessions.
The "Transform Stress, Embrace Change, Find Peace" group program facilitates an inner exploration by connecting mind, body and spirit. It is a progressive thematic based course, that facilitates a process for you to transform your relationship to stress and stress related symptoms. It will give you the opportunity to develop tools to embrace change in your life. The program helps you discover ways of managing your thoughts and feelings and your response to your life as it unfolds. This can lead to a better quality of life and healthier relationships with yourself and others.
Every Session includes a yoga posture practice, guided mediation, followed by speaking circle. The speaking circle is an opportunity to speak of the experience of that practice, and be witnessed in a safe, supported, nonjudgmental space. The Program includes guidance for home practice. A CD (or mp3) is provided as well as written material with recommended activities that enhance each weekly theme.
